We designed, facilitated and reported on six online workshops for the Environment Agency’s North West Regional Flood and Coast Committee (RFCC). The overall aim of the project was to seek contributions from five separate partnerships to develop a new Business Plan. We facilitated an online participative workshop with each of the partnerships ensuring the workshop design enabled the different views and perspectives of individual stakeholders within each partnership to be heard and recorded. We produced a short report for each workshop and worked with the Environment Agency project team to review the workshop outputs before designing and facilitating a sixth workshop with representatives from across each partnership to review and finalise the suggested scope and priorities for subsequent inclusion in a revised Business Plan. The Business Plan was published in November and we have been re-appointed to carry out a further set of online workshops to support stakeholders with detailed action planning to support implementation of the Business Plan.
