Catherine has nearly 30 years’ experience in the field of interpretation from producing interpretation plans to copywriting as well as working with local communities to develop projects.  As a skilled communicator both verbally and written, Catherine works on drafting case studies for Icarus and their clients.

Fiona is an engagement specialist, who brings extensive and varied expertise drawn from her own consultancy and substantial employed work in the natural environment and heritage sectors.  As a well-practised facilitator and trainer, Fiona can direct a range of advice, guidance and support to leaders, managers and volunteers in the development, delivery, and evaluation of public, community and learning engagement services.

Damian Hebron

Damian Hebron

Damian is a highly skilled facilitator, creative producer and engagement specialist, with extensive experience supporting communities to bring about change. He has worked extensively in the cultural/creative sector as well as undertaking roles at Wellcome Connecting Science and the national innovation foundation, Nesta, helping people with lived experience of health conditions influence and change policy and research.

Ute Kelly

Dr Ute Kelly

Ute is an experienced researcher, educator and facilitator, with a particular interest in processes that help people connect with themselves, each other, and the complex challenges facing contemporary societies. She particularly enjoys designing and facilitating spaces for creative engagement and reflective practice. She also brings expertise on social-ecological resilience, readiness assessment, conflict analysis, and equality, diversity and inclusion.

Helen Carr

Helen works on projects that empower the voluntary and public sectors to demonstrate the impact and value of their work. As part of the Icarus team providing evaluation and learning partner services, Helen applies her skills in the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative research methods. She brings together her experience of research and background in community projects to produce engaging, practical, and easy to read evaluation reports.

Lailla Tanveer

Lailla supports Icarus with our project management including financial and administration.  With over 20 years of operational knowledge and experience of project financial administration, she has worked across the public, private and voluntary sector setting up and maintaining effective admin, monitoring, recording and budgeting systems as well as statistical monitoring of outputs for various funders.
