Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

For this project, we worked with staff from the Environment Agency to design and facilitate the stakeholder engagement process to develop the National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England. This was a complex multi-stage and multi stakeholder engagement process over 2 and a half years, and included development of a vision for FCERM, identification of strategic areas stakeholders thought needed addressing and suggested ideas for action. The project was often fast paced and needed to be flexible in approach, activities and deadlines. We worked closely with the EA team to keep our approach under review and to change it, where needed.
