Paul has a background of working with community and voluntary sector groups and organisations. He has particular expertise in engaging and working with excluded and disadvantaged groups such as mental health service users, refugees and asylum seekers, gypsies, travellers and the families of disabled children.
He also has extensive experience of designing and undertaking significant research and evaluation commissions, including transnational, national and regional research programmes. Paul is especially skilled in developing participative approaches to this work and in actively involving key stakeholders in research and evaluation processes, helping to ensure they identify and take ownership of the findings, outcomes and actions.
